Job Title: Accounting Team Manager

Work Schedule: Nightshift | 10:00 PM–7:00 AM PH Time

Salary: Up to PHP 100,000

Summary (Why this Role Matters):

As an Accounting Team Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing our offshore accounting team while ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and fostering a culture of efficiency and accuracy. Your leadership will drive improvements and innovations that directly impact our clients and the financial landscape.

Key Duties:

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring high performance and continuous professional growth.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture that encourages efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Ensure preparation and accuracy of client financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and US accounting standards while identifying process improvements.
• Develop and enforce strong internal controls to ensure data integrity and prevent fraud.
• Utilize financial software (QuickBooks, R365, Xero) and implement automation solutions to optimize processes.
• Work closely with senior management and US account managers to align financial strategies and workflow.
• Communicate financial insights and recommendations to support US accountants and clients.

Skills & Experience (Overview):

• Proven experience in a leadership role within an accounting or finance team
• Strong background in financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance
• Proficient in financial software (QuickBooks, R365, Xero)

Essential Skills (Tools/Tech):

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
