The Role in a nutshell:
This role involves supporting financial operations by managing Accounting and Entity Management activities, ensuring timely task delivery, resource allocation, and process documentation. The position plays a key part in maintaining client satisfaction, resolving escalations, collaborating across departments, and driving process improvements—all while aligning with Safeguard Global’s values and operational goals.
How you will make a difference:
- Assist the Manager/Assistant Manager in delivering financial operations.
- Manage the distribution and delivery of Accounting/Entity Management tasks within the team.
- Ensure effective utilization of AEM tools and technologies.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet work objectives and deadlines.
- Co-responsible for delivering Accounting & Entity Management contracted tasks.
- Document procedures and processes at the process, client, and country levels.
- Coordinate with the Manager/Assistant Manager to deliver financial operations.
- Ensure client satisfaction within their portfolio.
- Manage client escalations through to resolution, including root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand processes and provide insights.
- Recommend improvements to policies and procedures, maximize new client engagement, and develop plans to meet future needs.
- Adhere to and demonstrate Safeguard Global company values, leading by example.
- Graduate with specialization in Finance
- 5+ years implementation operations experience, preferably experience in accounting services.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting terminology
- Solid foundation in accounting principles, regulatory requirements, risk management, and process improvement, coupled with hands-on experience
- Should have experience in specific industries, which can be crucial for specialized financial reporting and compliance
- Advanced skills in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle), Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis tools
- Knowledge of risk management principles, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of organization change and its impact on performance.
