ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR-ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

About the role

Sunpride Foods, Inc., a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor-Accounts Receivable to join our dynamic team in our Mandaue City Cebu office. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring efficient cash flow and financial stability.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable department, including invoicing, collections, and credit management
• Analyse and monitor customer accounts, identifying past-due balances and implementing effective collection strategies
• Prepare and review accurate and timely reports on accounts receivable, cash flow, and other financial metrics
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment issues
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts receivable process
• Train and supervise the accounts receivable team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Assist in the month-end close process and ensure the timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications as CPA are highly desirable
