Position Summary
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible in providing day-to-day support to accounting processes. This position will manage daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports and maintaining accurate financial records.

Position Summary
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible in providing day-to-day support to accounting processes. This position will manage daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports and maintaining accurate financial records.
Your Role
- Assist in billing, expense tracking and job costing.
- Assist in recording financial transactions and post them to the general ledger.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Assist in audit and preparing tax returns and other financial reports
- Collaborate with external accountants and auditors for yearly audits
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Maintain a filing system and ensure accurate records of all financial documents
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related fields.
- At least five (5) years of end-to-end accounting experience (from posting journal entries, financial analysis, month-end closing, reconciliations etc.)
- Preferred but not required: Experience in Construction or Landscaping industry
- Excellent Communication Skills (can effectively communicate in all levels within the organization).
- Can demonstrate high level of understanding in all areas of the finance and accounting functions.
- Keen to details and has great organizational skills and can manage multiple deadlines
- Has initiative, proactive and can demonstrate conflict resolution and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Amenable to Work on Night Shift.
- Amenable to Hybrid Work Arrangement.
