Accounting Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the administrative and accounting departments, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to office policies and procedures.
• Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and maintaining accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
• Monitor Sales Admins to ensure timely invoicing of orders to ensure on time delivery.
• Monitor inventory stocking levels and prepare purchase orders to suppliers.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Address and resolve administrative issues as they arise, maintaining internal controls and compliance with financial policies.
• Implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and ensure continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, business administration, finance or a related field.
• With at least 2 years experience in accounting or administrative roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Has at least 1 year experience in managing a team
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement
