Job Responsibilities:


Prepares & reviews reports and requirements related a small-medium enterprise (SME) design and consultancy company in relation to its business processes such as the following:

1. Compliance (Local and national taxes)

Preparation of statutory requirements for the following:

a. BIR (VAT, EWT, WTW, ITR, & DST)

b. SEC (Submission of AFS & GIS)

c. LGU (Annual Business Permit Renewal)

d. External Auditor (Year-end FS Audit)


2. Payroll Accounting

a. Salaries computation preparation

b. Submission of SSS, Pag-ibig, & Philhealth

3. Purchase to Pay

a. Check voucher preparation

b. Petty cash voucher preparation

c. Checking of documentation sent by suppliers/vendors (For VAT substantiation)

4. Billing to Collection

a. Preparation of client related documents (i.e. Invoicing, Collections Receipt/ Acknowledgement Receipt, Transmittal Form, etc.)

b. Collection of client payments


5. Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting

a. Check Disbursements Journal (CDJ) preparation

b. Collections Receipts Journal (CRJ) preparation

c. General Ledger Journal (GL) preparation

d. Journal Entries Preparation (JE) preparation


6. Other Administrative Tasks

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of work experience with Philippine Taxation and/or Accounting (Preferably with good understanding of Philippine Taxation)
  • Graduate of any accounting-related course
  • Good understanding of accounting systems and processes
  • Highly knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Specifically excel)
  • Computer Literate/Technology Savvy
  • Good organizational and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated & with high willingness to learn
