Roles & Responsibilities

  • Job descriptions:
  • Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes in compliance with applicable standards (e.g., IFRS, SFRS).
  • Perform and review group consolidation for multi-entity structures, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.
  • Manage and improve cost control measures and departmental budget processes.
  • Oversee multi-currency cash flow planning and management across international entities.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements, including GST, corporate tax, and withholding tax.
  • Prepare tax computations and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Manage a portfolio of international clients, ensuring tailored financial services and compliance with cross-border accounting and tax obligations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports to support business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Job requirement:
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in accounting with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven experience in group consolidation, cost control, financial analysis, and multi-currency cash flow management.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), corporate tax, and GST regulations.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are a plus.
  • Skills required:
  • Advanced financial analysis and reporting
  • Group consolidation and intercompany accounting
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Multi-currency accounting and cash flow management
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
