We're Hiring: Accounting Manager - Controllership!

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our controllership team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial management skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to drive compliance and efficiency within our financial operations.

Role: Accounting Manager - Controllership

What You'll Do

• Handle corporate finance and accounting process for PH and finance operations to assigned APAC entity/ies.
• Prepare financial reports within the month-end close deadlines by applying US GAAP and Local financial reporting standards, if applicable.
• Provide support to Finance Director for finance and accounting responsibilities and provide financial recommendation to the business.
• Collaborate with Department Cost Owners to ensure alignment on the financial goals of the company.
• Liaise with Internal and External auditors to ensure strong control environment and build statutory financial statements.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Tax, BIR, PEZA and other government agencies to ensure strong compliance to statutory requirements.
• Own the functional expertise of financial accounting legacy systems.
• Manage a team supporting both site finance and finance operations for APAC.
• Report to the Sr Manager Accounting, and collaborate with various finance process managers to ensure data reliability.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• College Graduate with 8 years of General Accounting and Controllership (budget management) experience
• Good to have understanding and application of US GAAP and Local FRS.
• Good knowledge and experience of Oracle Fusion, Quickbooks, Hyperion, Tableau, Blackline, etc.
• Strong analytical skills, demonstrate strong understanding of financial processes – general accounting, intercompany, fixed assets, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, cash accounting, reporting, etc.
• Excellent communication, data story telling skills.
• High proficiency in data reporting tools such as Smartsheets, MS Excel with good knowledge on application of formulas, macros, pivot, etc.
• Excellent organization skills and interface management skills.
• Demonstrate high integrity, trustworthy, accountability and strong and rational decision-making skills.
