YOUR ROLE:
As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial statements, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will supervise accounting staff, implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures, and play a key role in financial reporting and analysis.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
- Managing Daily Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany, and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Preparing Financial Statements and Reports: Lead the preparation of periodic financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensuring Compliance: Maintain thorough knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulations to ensure full compliance across financial activities.
- Supporting Audits: Coordinate with external and internal auditors by providing documentation, explanations, and support to ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
- Supervising & Developing Staff: Provide guidance, training, and supervision to accounting team members, fostering professional development and teamwork.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
- Proven experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Skilled in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated leadership with ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills — able to convey complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
- Adaptable to changes in regulations, industry standards, and business priorities.
- Proactive in staying updated on accounting best practices and trends.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and confidentiality in financial management.
