Accounting Manager

About the Role

As the Accounting Manager at Golden Century Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This is a critical role that will contribute to the overall success and strategic direction of the business. This full-time position is based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Liaise with auditors and government authorities as required

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the management consulting or marketing industries
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management accounting
• Proficient in using accounting software and data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
