About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Joshjenjoy Gifts & General Merchandise. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of our company in our Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila location.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing general accounting tasks such as processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparing bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents
  • Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Providing administrative support to the finance and accounting departments as needed

    • What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting clerk or bookkeeping role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A keen interest in the accounting field and a commitment to continuous learning
