                                                The Accounting Associate is responsible for providing accounting and customer service support in managing owner accounts, escrow transactions, vendor setups, and chargebacks. The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established accounting policies and procedures while maintaining effective communication with owners, property managers, and internal teams.
Job Description
• Assist in managing owner records and accounts receivables, ensuring all details are accurate and up to date.
• Gather required documentation and maintain updated records for owners of record, including addresses and contact information.
• Respond to owner inquiries on billing, account status, and payment-related matters within defined service timelines.
• Coordinate with accountants, administrative assistants, and property managers to resolve ownership and receivable issues.
• Print and mail billing statements, welcome letters, and coupons for new owners.
• Support escrow transactions and assist in the setup of new owner accounts and Surepay enrollments.
• Create and maintain import logs for chargebacks, payments, and ownership changes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and data confidentiality standards.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of accounting tasks.
• Maintain professionalism and a customer-oriented approach in all communications and activities.
Required Qualifications
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Mail, Sheets, Chrome).
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates accountability, flexibility, and good judgment in day-to-day tasks.
• Proactive in identifying and resolving issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Works effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment with a respectful and professional attitude.
• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
Screening Criteria
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in accounting, administrative, or property management-related work.
• Must have a stable employment history.
