Accounting Assistant

Qualification

• Graduate of BS Accountancy
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in the field of accounting and financial reporting (preferably in mining company in the Philippines)
• Knowledge and experience in PFRS, proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge in major ERP systems, business intelligence and a good command of English (both verbal and written)

Job Description

• Assist in the day-to-day, weekly, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting/ Finance Department
• Assist in ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual compliance with government regulatory requirements.
• Processing, reviewing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensuring that all supplier invoices, fund transfers and staff reimbursements/cash advances are processed for payment accurately, in accordance with Finance policies and procedures, and in a timely manner.
• Assist in monitoring, analysis and recording of recurring transactions including revenue, payroll, accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, if necessary.
• Assist in compliance with requirements of external audit.
• Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts of Companies and its subsidiaries.
• Preparation of BIR Forms 2307 of suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
