DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Chief Financial Officer
  • Assist CFO in budget and forecasting
  • Assist CFO in management reporting
  • Supervise accounting and finance department of more than 10 team members
  • Conduct Financial Analysis
  • Oversee and ensure complete month-end close within 10 business days
  • Ensure Cost-Saving Practices are implemented
  • Work with external auditor with the annual audit preparation of audited financial statements and serves as a Finance liaison between the Philippines, and US
  • Manage financial reports and other accounting and finance related reports
  • Review and approves tax returns, monitor filings and payments
  • Review and approves monthly, quarterly and annual BIR Forms, including VAT returns
  • Review and approves Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders
  • Streamline accounting and finance processes
  • Responsible in overseeing projects and overall process enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Adherence to policies and procedures to ensure personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement and ensure compliance accounting and finance policies and procedures
  • Oversee and manage the accounting system
  • Manage day-to-day accounting, finance, procurement and payroll activities
  • Fulfil other related duties as assigned by CFO


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy
  • With more than 5 years of work experience in accounting, finance, audit, procurement and payroll
  • With more than 5 years of work experience in BPO and is flexible working overtime during month-end close and audit periods.
  • With familiarity on any ERP systems like NetSuite or similar systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Capable of communicating in English both oral and written form
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in excel and Google Apps
