- Has in-depth knowledge in own area
- Ownership of assigned bank account reconciliation
- Investigates and communicates issues identified with other departments and disbursement channels
- Monitors and resolves reconciling items
- Effectively collaborate to solve complex reconciling items
- Checks reconciliation reports
- Participate in company projects (those affecting bank accounts or money flows)
- Leads team projects related to reconciliation and process improvements
- Trains/mentors junior team members
- Use best practices & knowledge to recommend & implement effective process improvement, raise ideas for automation of reports
- Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
- At least 2-4 years of working experience in accounting role
- Actual experience in balance sheet account reconciliation or bank reconciliation
- Experience in training or coaching team members
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Experience in financial services industry, multinational/international company or shared services company is desirable
- Proficient in MS Excel (with actual experience in pivot, vlookup, sumif, etc)
- Knowledge or practical experience in SAP GUI and SQL (Oracle)
