As An Accountant, You Will
- Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- CPA certification or equivalent
- Experience with tax preparation and filing
- Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Australian accounting experience is a plus
