The Role

You Will Be Responsible For

JOB OBJECTIVES

Responsible for performing highly specialized accounting work to maintain the Group’s book of accounts /ledger. Working under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Supervisor directs and coordinates the daily activities of the department to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets and liabilities of the Group.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Reviews books of accounts to ensure appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Prepares the financial statements of assigned companies.
• Ensures compliance to BIR, SEC and other regulatory requirements.
• Implements and monitors the application of existing taxes and rulings in the company’s transactions and reporting.
• Responsible for the safekeeping of financial records
• Take ownership of the audit process, with both internal and external auditors as well as BIR examinations
• Other related assignments, as required.
  
  

Ideal Profile

• You have at least 2 year experience within a Accountant (General Ledger) role, ideally within the Chemicals and Transport & Logistics industry.
• You are a strong networker & relationship builder
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
