As An Account Payable Clerk You Will
Reporting to the Company Controller, the Accounts Payable Clerk must meet tight deadlines and manage a high volume of work. They will maintain, reconcile, and process accounts payable transactions efficiently, accurately, and on time. The clerk will also perform various tasks to support the effective operation of the Accounts Payable department.

As An Account Payable Clerk You Will
Reporting to the Company Controller, the Accounts Payable Clerk must meet tight deadlines and manage a high volume of work. They will maintain, reconcile, and process accounts payable transactions efficiently, accurately, and on time. The clerk will also perform various tasks to support the effective operation of the Accounts Payable department.
- Maintain and monitor accounts payable in accordance with company policies and accounting best practices.
- Process all accounts payable transactions, both local and international.
- Follow up on unpaid invoices according to scheduled timelines.
- Communicate with suppliers and administrative staff regarding missing documents, change requests, or pricing issues.
- Reconcile supplier statements and issue credit/debit notes when necessary.
- Post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in accounts payable management or basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and basic knowledge of ERP programs is an asset.
- Very fluent in spoken and written English.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in accounts payable management and/or basic knowledge of accounting principles.
