Job Summary

As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organisations.

As part of the Business Application Consulting team you play a vital role in enhancing operational productivity, improving customer experience, and fostering innovation through the implementation of advanced technologies and streamlined workflows. As a Senior Associate, you analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain exemplary standards. You focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, guiding the team on tasks, and supporting sprint planning while collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess current systems and design future state systems.

What You Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 to 8 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• Proven proficiency in GW Integration Mechanisms
• Proficiency in Gosu Classes and Enhancements
• Experience with Java and J2EE
• Skilled in Microservice and Spring Boot
• Advanced analytical and estimation skills
• Experience in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology
• Insurance domain knowledge
• Leadership in team leading and code review
• Experience in at least two Guidewire implementations

• Flexible to support different US time zones (2:00PM to 11PM / 3:00PM to 12AM / 4:00PM to 1:00AM / 5:00PM to 2:00AM)
• Amenable to work in BGC Taguig Metro Manila
