Your role

We are looking for a Lens Warehouse Supervisor who will be responsible for achieving warehouse KPIs through the effective and efficient implementation of established standards and procedures. This role includes optimizing manpower utilization and training, coordinating the resolution of equipment or process issues, and regularly reporting on all shift activities and performance metrics. The Supervisor will also direct and coordinate activities related to purchased lenses, ensure the continuous supply of lenses for CFS, maintain inventory accuracy, and lead the team in meeting operational targets.

Main Responsibilities

People Management

• Plans and monitors personnel schedules including attendance, tardiness and leaves.
• Provides guidance to team members to ensure optimal manpower productivity.
• Leads toolbox meetings to communicate shift targets and status updates.
• Ensures organizational continuity by developing multi-skilled operators
  
  

Warehouse Management

• Oversees daily shipments and ensures timely cut-offs.
• Analyzes inventory shortages and manages obsolete stock.
• Optimizes warehouse layout and enforces FIFO practices.
• Leads and improves cycle count activities and accuracy.
• Reviews MUIRFs and ensures proper Oracle transactions.
• Addresses customer issues with 8D corrective actions.
• Tracks KPIs and drives improvements to meet objectives.
• Coordinates with Planning and Production to optimize WIP flow.
  
  

Projects & Continuous Improvement

• Leads and supports projects and initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
• Gathers and analyzes data to support decision-making and improvements.
• Initiates and facilitates problem-solving activities.
• Develops and refines work procedures to align with production schedules and workflow demands.
• Implements and monitors lean flow practices, 5S, and visual management controls.
  
  

A Portrait of a Perfect Candidate

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics.
• At least 3 years in a coordinator or supervisory role.
• Proficient in Windows applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of driving change.
• Knowledgeable in warehouse operations and best practices.
