About the Job:

We are looking for an Accountant to join our client's growing finance team and support the delivery of high-quality accounting services to US-based businesses. In this role, you will manage month-end close activities, prepare financial reports, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with tax-related tasks. You will work with cloud-based accounting systems and collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments based on client requirements.
• Track, prepare, and submit 1099 forms in compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide support during tax season and assist with tax-related accounting activities.
• Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Interpret financial data and identify accounting issues or improvement opportunities.
• Communicate financial information clearly with clients and internal teams.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or Financial Analyst.
• CPA, CMA, CA, or other relevant accounting certification is preferred.
• Experience using QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting software.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliation, and month-end close processes.
• Experience with business tax preparation and 1099 filing is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
