Transaction Investigation Officer

We are looking for a Transaction Monitoring Specialist to support the detection and investigation of suspicious activities across customer transactions. In this role, you will analyze transaction patterns, identify potential risks, and conduct investigations while working closely with compliance, fraud, and customer-facing teams. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of AML/KYC frameworks and risk controls in a financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily transactions across various channels to identify unusual or suspicious activity.
• Perform data-driven analysis of customer behavior and transaction patterns to flag potential risks.
• Investigate escalated or flagged transactions and prepare documentation for further action.
• Interaction with clients within transaction investigation/confirmation
• Collaborate with compliance, fraud, and customer service teams to resolve transaction-related issues.
• Recommend process improvements and risk controls based on analytical findings.
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC), and company policies.
• Support internal audits and regulatory inquiries related to transaction monitoring.
