Systems Administrator

- Administer and support backbone servers like Active Directory (AD), Domain Name System (DNS), Microsoft Exchange Server, Domain Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Server Virtualization, Windows Servers and Linux Servers;
- Ability to assume ownership, accountability and leadership to a given tasks;
- Modify and update user account information, mailboxes and internet accounts upon request and approval;
- Manages the day-to-day operations of LTO-IT system by monitoring, maintenance and provide support to district office (DO) servers and ensure high availability and attain acceptable level of system performance;
- Responds to issues, problems and concerns escalated by Customer Care and other support groups related to systems administration function in a timely manner;
- Need to possess a high level of patience and professionalism when working with other employees;
- Isolates problems and collaborate with other support groups or to Sr. systems administrator for proper action;
- Provide assistance in recovering files and databases from workstations or servers that have encountered hardware or operating system problem;
- Setup, install and configure workstations used by Stradcom-based employees such as operating system, M365, MS Office, Outlook, internet browser, and other software purchased by the company as needed;
- Submit reports required by the department manager or management (Weekly, Monthly or ad-hoc reports) ;
- Conduct troubleshooting (ad-hoc technical team member for onsite isolation of abnormal behavior of the LTOIT system);
- Administer and provides support to Interconnectivity projects;
- Compliance with Stradcom policies like conduct, dress code, absenteeism, tardiness, etc. and;
Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by immediate superiors from time to time.
- Minimum Qualifications: A graduate of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any IT related course;
- At least 2 years relevant experience;
- Knowledge in administration and maintenance of Win 2000 Active Directory Environment, Linux, Web Applications (e.g. IIS, PHP and Apache);
- Knowledge in Windows Operating System such as, but not limited to Windows and Linux;
- Basic installation and troubleshooting of hardware and software;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; and,
- Good communication skills.
