Role Overview

As Support Engineer, you will join a team of technical experts working on various projects relating to the configuration of our OneHub platform. You will be work closely alongside other team members in our technical and quality assurance teams where you will be working on technical and quality aspects of our OneHub product as required. Attention to detail, proactivity and the ability to work to changing priorities is a must for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Translation of technical documentation into configured benefits – the ability to read and understand a technical specification document and translate that into how to build and triage issues with technical build in OneHub.
  • Problem solving and investigate queries – the ability to understand build issues, investigate them and then apply a fix to both configuration and data.
  • Triage tickets to ensure the correct information is recorded, and pass to the relevant team. Ensure tickets are up-to-date, and support ticket to resolution.
  • Problem solve, and investigate queries.
  • Work to strict deadlines for delivery.
  • Unit test completed work, and peer review colleagues’ work.
  • Administrative and ad-hoc activities as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality within all aspects of the job role.

What are we looking for?

  • Coding skills: the ability to understand C#, SQL and any other coding methodologies
  • Data analysis: the ability to extract, analyse and manipulate data using T-SQL
  • Testing/Quality Assurance: the ability to test and/or QA work completed by your colleagues
  • A logical thinker.
  • Detail orientated, quality driven and a meticulous planner.
  • Prioritisation of workload and communication: the ability to ensure workload is completed on time and the ability to communicate delays in a timely way.
  • Ability to skilfully navigate difficult conversations with fairness and empathy.
  • Team player.
  • Problem solver.
