Job Description

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as program management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and design engineering to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within cost targets.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, including schedule, cost, and technical deliverables.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or technical issues.
  • Prepare reports and communicate status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage project documentation, proposals, and work statements as required for program execution.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations (EHS).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve engineering processes and project outcomes.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related field).
  • 4–5+ years of experience in project engineering, project management, or similar technical roles.
  • Knowledge of engineering development, manufacturing processes, and aerospace systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient with software such as Siemens NX, Solidworks and Microsoft Office (ie. MS Project)
  • Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices
  • Courage to explore new ideas, learn new technologies, a proactive desire to learn
  • Passion for technology and creative mindset
  • PMP or ACP certified is a plus.
