About Us

We are an established restaurant with over 25 years of serving our community. As we enter our next chapter, we're looking for a highly creative Social Media Manager to help modernize our brand, elevate our online presence, and showcase what makes our restaurant special.

This is more than a content posting role. We are looking for someone who can bring our brand to life through engaging content, compelling storytelling, and creative marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and ultimately more customers through our doors.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager who can take ownership of our social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The ideal candidate is highly creative, understands what performs well on social media, has strong video editing skills, and can transform everyday restaurant moments into content that attracts attention and builds a loyal following.

  • Hours: 20 hours per week
  • Schedule: Must have overlap with EST business hours


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with our brand and business goals
  • Rebrand and refresh our social media presence across all platforms
  • Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Plan and manage a monthly content calendar
  • Edit and produce high-quality short-form videos and reels
  • Create compelling captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action
  • Showcase menu items, customer experiences, staff stories, events, and promotions
  • Monitor trends and identify opportunities to increase reach and engagement
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages
  • Track performance metrics and provide monthly reporting and recommendations
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to capture content and gather ideas
  • Continuously test new content formats and creative concepts to increase visibility and customer engagement


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of social media management experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing social media accounts you have managed
  • Excellent video editing skills for Reels, TikToks, and short-form content
  • Experience growing social media accounts organically
  • Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok best practices
  • Experience creating content for restaurants, hospitality, food & beverage, or local businesses is highly preferred
  • Ability to identify trends and create content that resonates with target audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and creative
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools
