The Site Operations Director is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and performance of all operational activities at Moog Baguio. As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, the incumbent provides strategic and operational leadership across manufacturing and support functions to ensure the achievement of business objectives related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Service. Reporting to the General Manager, the Site Operations Director plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, developing organizational capability, supporting business growth, and ensuring alignment with Aircraft Group and Moog strategic priorities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all operational activities at Moog Baguio, ensuring the achievement of business objectives and operational excellence across the site.
  • Partner with the General Manager and Site Leadership Team to ensure the organization has the talent, resources, capacity, and operating disciplines required to support current and future business needs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through the achievement of operational performance targets and consistent on-time delivery.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the following functions (Business Unit Managers, Plant Engineering Manager Manufacturing Engineering Manager
  • Lead the development and execution of operating and capital budgets, workforce plans, capacity requirements, and resource allocation strategies to support business objectives.
  • Develop and implement staffing, organizational capability, and succession plans to ensure the appropriate quantity and distribution of skills across the organization.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve operational processes and systems to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and overall business performance.
  • Drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure stakeholder expectations for Quality, Safety, Delivery, Cost, and Service are consistently achieved.
  • Oversee site-level Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and capacity planning processes to ensure alignment between customer demand, material availability, workforce capability, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Champion a strong Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) culture by promoting safe work practices, compliance, risk management, and employee engagement throughout the site.
  • Support the strategic direction of Moog Baguio by ensuring operational plans and priorities are aligned with Aircraft Group strategies and regional business requirements.
  • Lead the development and execution of short- and medium-term operational plans that support business growth, operational readiness, and long-term sustainability.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, optimize processes, and enhance overall business performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders, serving as a trusted representative of Moog Baguio and strengthening confidence in the site's operational capabilities.
  • Communicate site performance, challenges, opportunities, and strategic priorities to the General Manager and business leaders, ensuring alignment and support for site objectives.
  • Serve as a visible and influential leader who inspires teams, aligns the organization toward common goals, and promotes a culture of operational excellence, customer focus, safety, and continuous improvement.

To be considered for this role, you will bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is required. A master’s degree in engineering, a technical field, or an MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive operations leadership experience in a medium- to large-scale manufacturing environment, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership position with demonstrated success in driving business and operational results.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing requirements, including quality systems, product traceability, regulatory compliance, and product safety standards. Experience in other highly regulated industries such as medical devices, nuclear, or automotive manufacturing will also be considered.
  • Proven experience leading manufacturing operations, capacity planning, operational excellence, supply chain collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of ERP/MRP systems, with SAP experience preferred.
  • Experience leading organizations through business growth, organizational transformation, and operational change.
  • Experience working within multinational organizations and leading teams in a multicultural environment; Asia-Pacific regional experience is an advantage.
  • Experience with Demand-Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP), logistics, and materials management is highly desirable.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement certification is considered an asset.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, financial management, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and drive results across a complex organization.
