Short-term Civil Peace Service (CPS) Advisor (m/f/d) for multi-stakeholder dialogue

The Civil Peace Service (CPS) is a program for violence prevention, civil conflict transformation, and peacebuilding. In the Philippines, CPS supports civil society and state actors in the implementation of initiatives that contribute to inclusive and sustainable peace in Mindanao. This includes strengthening processes and structures for non-violent conflict transformation, providing safe spaces and platforms for dialogue and exchange, and working with local media professionals to foster conflict-sensitive media work. Disadvantaged population groups, especially women, young people, indigenous peoples and people affected by displacement, are supported in bringing their interests and needs into the peace processes in Mindanao. The CPS advisor on this position works closely with national colleagues to support and accompany the CPS Partners’ Network MindanawOne Peace Network, the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs (MIPA), as well as local government units.
