About the role
As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist at Ubiquity, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment for our employees. This full-time position, based in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, will see you providing strategic guidance and support to our HR team and business leaders on a wide range of employee relations matters.
What You’ll Do:
Advise and assist managers in handling complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management
Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns, ensuring fair and impartial outcomes
Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies
Develop and deliver training programs to educate managers on best practices in employee relations
Participate in the design and implementation of HR initiatives that promote positive employee engagement and a healthy organisational culture
Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in employee relations
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on strategic workforce planning and people management decisions
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, preferably within a large, complex organisation
Strong working knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and collective bargaining agreements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations and build trust with employees at all levels
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve employee-related issues
Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable HR strategies
Experience in delivering training and facilitating workshops on employee relations topics
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
