Overview:

Snapscale is seeking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to work on a hybrid set-up to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic business decisions. This role goes beyond routine accounting tasks and involves financial analysis, compliance, and team support.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and review financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as GAAP or IFRS

General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Review journal entries for accuracy and completeness

Month-End & Year-End Close:

  • Lead and manage closing processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reports

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
  • Perform variance analysis between actual results and projections

Compliance & Audits:

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and support junior accounting staff
  • Provide guidance and training as needed

Process Improvement:

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in accounting processes and systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required
  • 5–7+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite)
