Risk and Controls Analyst

We’re looking for a Risk and Controls Analyst to join our Insurance Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to perform analytical document review, ensure business controls are in place and achieving targets along with some transactional processing for the international business.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk and control reviews to ensure compliance programs and operational controls are effective and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor operational processes, identify potential risks or compliance gaps, and support the implementation of corrective action plans.
- Provide guidance to business teams on compliance requirements, risk management practices, and ongoing due diligence activities.
- Investigate incidents, track corrective actions, and maintain awareness of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and present compliance findings, insights, and recommendations to management.
- Support audits, regulatory reporting, special business programs, policy research, tax updates, and other operational risk and control activities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in controls, compliance, risk management, or related functions.
- Candidates with experience in back-office operations or administrative roles can be accommodated. This includes familiarity with office management tasks, data entry, document handling, and providing general support to ensure efficient office operations.
- A bachelor's degree in any field is required.
- Amenable for fixed night shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to diverse audiences.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a work environment.
