QUALITY FUNCTIONS
The Purpose of the OMS Champion Job is to support the implementation of the Operations Management System on site and ensure sustainability. This includes the development and coaching of the site leadership team (supervisors and coordinators) and the tracking of the OMS achievements.

Responsibilities
QUALITY FUNCTIONS
- Conducting regular quality audits and inspections to identify and address any non-conformities or defects
- Implementing quality control measures and processes to prevent quality issues from occurring
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related problems
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation to track quality performance metrics
- Providing training and guidance to production and operations staff on quality procedures and best practices
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards and quality management principles
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve quality systems and processes

- Drive the implementation of the 4 OMS principles and 12 OMS elements and maintain the OMS
- Support the site management team to establish and maintain an organization that delivers
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Job Standardization
- Support continuous improvement
- Coach of a team, ensuring everyone plays by the rules to achieve success.
What we're looking for
- College diploma or degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and quality control techniques
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools
- Experience in performance management, productivity and continuous improvement methodologies
