A DAY IN THE LIFE …

The Project Manager is responsible for driving the completion and success of end-to-end projects as assigned and commissioned by Markets at Zone and Global levels. This includes structuring, budgeting, execution, evaluation, and closing.

• Manage the project governance by ensuring day-to-day management through assignment of project work, mobilization of required resources, and monitoring and reporting on key dimensions such as work package completion, risks, opportunities, issues, and mitigation plans. Ensure alignment with project sponsors’ expectations and tolerances, apply quality assurance standards, and manage timely decision-making processes.
• Create and manage the project implementation plan by aligning with project sponsors, project members, and stakeholders, and tracking progress through governance frameworks to ensure on-time project completion.
• Lead project closing activities by ensuring deliverables are completed, reviewing achievement of objectives and business case assumptions, and capturing lessons learned.
• Lead and develop the project team by coaching, supporting, engaging, and energizing members, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities, and providing regular feedback on performance.
• Ensure consistent application of project management practices, and build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, cultivating a network of experts within and outside the organization.
• Develop and maintain project management methods, standards, tools, and templates tailored to business needs, and deliver training and on-the-job coaching.
• Coach and develop junior team members, particularly in PMO administration, controlling, and monitoring.
• Ensure quality standards for key project deliverables including timeliness of milestones, budget accuracy, and risk management planning.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in leading teams, including budget and personnel responsibilities
• Experience in managing cross-functional projects
• Strong leadership skills with a track record in developing people
