Job Summary
- The Project Engineer (Finishing & QA/QC) is responsible for the implementation of Quality Control Program for civil/structural and architectural works to ensure conformance with plans & specifications.
- Cost
- Estimate, monitor & control architectural works (material, labor, equipment, & subcon)
- Production
- Coordinate with the Cost & Schedule Engineer for the preparation of the baseline cost & schedule.
- Prepare and submit request for materials, labor, equipment, & subcon.
- Monitor and supervise finishing & architectural works.
- Submit weekly finishing & architectural accomplishment.
- Coordinate architectural changes with Design Department.
- Recommend effective engineering solutions to field problems.
- Production
- Review construction plans & specifications for basic compliance with the prevailing Code and Standards of Practice.
- Coordinate architectural changes with CAD Operator for the as-built plans.
- Conduct QC inspection and testing for finishing & architectural works.
- Turnover finishing & architectural works in accordance to plans & specifications.
- Issue Certificate of Completion and Final Acceptance of contractors.
- Responsible for the evaluation of Contractor's Performance Report.
- Safety
- Assist in overseeing health & safety standards on site.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any related field.
- Possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses (i.e., Registered Civil Engineer, Registered Architect, etc.)
- Has a minimum of 3 years experience in construction industry, preferably with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.
- Has an in-depth knowledge of project scheduling and construction project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other engineering software tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability and resilience to navigate challenges in construction.
