- Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates
- Analyze architectural plans, specifications, and RFP documents
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing
- Manage bid tracking logs and follow up on outstanding bids
- Assist in preparing proposals and contract documents
- Support project management during preconstruction phase
- 3+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience in residential or commercial construction
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, or similar estimating tools
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local pricing in Southern California
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Starting base salary from $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience
