We are hiring for a Plant Technician.
As an Plant Technician, we rely you to:
Maintain the safe and efficient operation of the Power Plant, Machine Room and all their accessories and auxiliaries
Perform proper preventive maintenance of Plant electrical and mechanical sets of equipments
Be familiar on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing works/system repair
Assist the Duty Engineer in the supervision of the duties and responsibilities of duty technicians assigned during his shift
Liaise directly with departments regarding the completion of work orders and prioritize in order for guest satisfaction.
Participate actively as a member of the hotel ERT in the event of fire or other emergencies.
Provide technical assistance to contractors, suppliers and other Technicians when required.
Utilize computer applications to perform the tasks required and for documentation.
Perform other tasks and duties as directed or assigned by your immediate supervisors
We are looking for someone who:
Has proper bearing, good health, physically fit, neat & pleasant
Has at least 5 years experience in the same field.
Has certificate from Technical College in Mechanics or Electricity or equivalent.
Demonstrates awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines. In addition, first aid and fire and emergency procedures.
Demonstrates high quality work, has good communication & problem solving skills, organizational and training abilities
Highly motivated, goal-oriented and has the aptitude to learn
Leads by example
Communicates and writes with fluency in English (and local language)
