P&C Operations, Specialist

Vestas

Date: 4 hours ago
City: Pasay
Contract type: Full time

You will join a global People Operations organisation focused on delivering consistent, scalable, and employee-centred services. In this role, you will act as a trusted specialist, problem solver, and regional enabler, working closely with the People SSC Manager, service delivery teams, Payroll, Centres of Expertise, and in-country colleagues. This is an opportunity to be part of a function that is moving beyond transactional case handling and towards stronger service ownership, knowledge enablement, data-driven improvement, and operational excellence.

People Operations is responsible for delivering reliable, accessible, and scalable HR services to employees and managers across Vestas. Our ambition is to resolve demand at the right level, strengthen self-service and knowledge, and ensure a consistent employee experience across regions.
As People Operations Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting this agenda by ensuring strong Tier 1 delivery, acting as an escalation point for moderately complex queries, and contributing to the ongoing optimisation of our tiered service model.

  • You will support the delivery of People Operations, payroll-related, and benefits-related queries within defined service boundaries.
  • You will help ensure that cases are resolved accurately, consistently, and with a strong service mindset.
  • You will work across regional stakeholders to translate local complexity into scalable ways of working.
Classification: Confidential
  • You will contribute to continuous improvement, self-service enablement, knowledge quality, and reduced dependency on escalation.

Responsibilities:

Service Delivery and Case Resolution
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Tier 1 People Operations services and ensuring that employee and manager queries are resolved effectively, accurately, and in line with defined service standards.
  • Own and resolve Tier 1 People Operations cases end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes
  • Support moderately complex and repeatable queries across People Operations, payroll-related topics, and benefits support within defined scope
  • Apply strong triage and routing discipline to ensure work is handled at the right tier
  • Focus on solutions and service quality, not only responses

Subject Matter Expertise and Escalation Support

You will act as a regional subject matter expert and support layer within Tier 1, helping teams resolve issues effectively while ensuring only true Tier 2 work is escalated to Payroll or Centres of Expertise.
  • Handle escalations from administrators and professionals within the Shared Service Centre
  • Provide guidance on complex Tier 1 queries and recurring operational issues
  • Support consistent interpretation and application of processes, policies, and service pathways
  • Help reduce unnecessary escalations, rework, and dependency on individual expertise

Knowledge, Enablement and Continuous Improvement
You will help strengthen how People Operations services are delivered by identifying patterns in demand, improving knowledge, supporting adoption of new ways of working, and contributing to a more scalable service model.
  • Partner with in-country colleagues and regional stakeholders to capture local nuance and translate it into standardised service delivery
  • Support knowledge documentation, self-service improvements, and Tier 0 enablement
  • Use operational data and service insight to identify repeat demand, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Support implementation of process changes, system updates, and new service solutions across the region
  • Coach and guide colleagues to build stronger problem-solving capability within Tier 1

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who brings experience from HR operations, shared services, payroll support, or a similar service-led environment. You understand how to balance service quality, governance, accuracy, and stakeholder expectations in a complex organisation.
  • Experience in shared services, HR operations, People Operations, payroll support, or a related field
  • Experience working in high-volume, service-led environments with defined processes, service levels, and case management discipline
  • Good understanding of HR systems, workflows, employee lifecycle processes, and operational service delivery
  • Ability to interpret process guidance, policies, and regional requirements and translate them into practical support
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Core Competencies:
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership and drive cases to resolution
Classification: Confidential
  • Service-minded and structured, with a focus on quality, consistency, and employee experience
  • Confident working across teams, regions, and stakeholder groups
  • Able to act as a trusted specialist, coach, and escalation point within a shared services environment
  • Comfortable using data and operational insight to identify improvements and reduce repeat demand
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a changing environment
