Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Scientist (Packaging).

What Are The Roles And Responsibilities

• Develops flexible packaging products for new products or existing products with new packaging requirements
• Builds product prototype, conducts trials & evaluates results
• Attends to customer complaints and provides root cause analysis and corrective/ preventive actions
• Troubleshoots, identifies root cause and provides solutions on in-process production problems during packaging
• Performs accreditation on new raw material suppliers
• Conducts material analysis and quality testing through operation of several equipments such as: Water Permeability and Oxygen Transmission machine, Heat Sealer and Instron Universal Testing Machine, Thickness tester, and Xrite Densitometer, ECT, and others
• Knowledgeable in SAP) System Application Product
• Prepares technical references and information such as process parameters, process flow, packaging materials specifications, manufacturing specifications and finished product packaging specifications as needed by all concerned departments
• Can easily adopt to the digitalized system of specification generation and artwork approval
  
  

What Are The Qualifications

• Good in project management
• Good in collaboration with other key stakeholders
• A plus if the candidate has background in flexible laminate manufacturing or corrugated carton converting.
