The Operations staff is responsible for accurate performance of the day-to-day transactions of cash operations.

Responsibilities

  • Performs various functions in cash center operations:
  • Field tellering
  • DPU verification and balancing
  • Dispatching
  • Ensures that all DPU documents, tamper-evident bags (TEBs), duffel bags, and cash (for change fund/payroll delivery) are complete before leaving cash center premises.
  • Performs the actual pick-up of cash and check deposits (via armored car) for DPU clients.
  • Performs change fund and payroll deliveries to the clients (via armored car) and ensures that the corresponding payment is secured (either cash or debit to account).
  • Piece-counts and verifies cash from tellerless deposit pick-up and offsite-counting deposit pick-up
  • Receives ATM deposit envelopes from Beeper Teams and checks number of envelopes against terminal reading if tallied. Piece-count and verifies cash from ATM deposit envelopes.
  • Consolidates and balances loose cash from the field tellers, verifiers, and ATM staff.
  • Consolidates and balances total cash picked-up and verified and turnover to cash custodians.
  • Inspects technicalities of checks, and accounts against deposit slips and DPA/DPN (under CCTV) and turnovers to online teller for validation.
  • Documents discrepancies found through a coordination sheet, duly witnessed by workflow coordinator and referred to the officer.
  • Delivers validated deposit slips/proof of deposit posting/adjustment documents to the respective clients.
  • Perform cash unloading in armored cars together with the operations officer.
  • Account the no. of duffel bags that return to the cash center against the trip ticket.
  • Ensure proper turnover of bags/packs/cash/documents retrieved from the armored cash safe and the auxiliary vault to accountable personnel.
  • Acts as BSP Representative, processes the documents required for BSP withdrawals and deposits and/or other banks’ cash assistance and acts as witness in BSP deposit verification.
  • Assists cash custodians in the sorting activities when there is no cash to verify.
  • Acts as a reliever to admin and accounting staff and ATM Beeper teams to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Imposes the necessary policies and controls to minimize the unit’s exposure to risk, fraud, and errors.
  • Performs other tasks & duties assigned by the supervisor such as but not limited to assignment to other sections of the department in case of contingencies.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any 4 year Bachelor’s/College Degree, preferably related to Business, Information Technology or Math
  • Adept in the needed MS Office systems
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Willing to be assigned in Isabela
