Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Talent Acquisition and Early Careers Officer.

The Talent Acquisition and Early Careers Officer is responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment for managerial roles across Head Office functions while leading key Talent Acquisition BUILD initiatives.

The role also includes assistance to the Talent Acquisition Manager on the governance of the shared services unit handling non-managerial hiring, ensuring process efficiency, compliance, and consistent candidate experience.

This position plays a critical role in strengthening employer brand, modernizing recruitment processes, and building sustainable early careers pipelines aligned with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managerial Hiring (Head Office Roles)
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for managerial and specialist roles across corporate functions (e.g., Finance, Marketing, HR, Supply Chain).
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, competencies, and sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct structured interviews, assessments, and candidate evaluations.
  • Ensure high-quality candidate shortlists and timely closure of vacancies.
  • Drive consistent use of competency-based hiring standards and tools.
  • Talent Acquisition BUILD Projects

Lead and implement strategic TA transformation initiatives, including:

  • New Hire Onboarding Digitalization
    • Convert face-to-face onboarding sessions into scalable online formats (e.g., LMS modules, virtual onboarding programs).
    • Enhance onboarding experience to improve engagement and retention.
  • Employee Referral Program Enhancement
    • Design, implement, and optimize referral programs to increase quality hires.
    • Monitor program effectiveness, participation rates, and ROI.
    • Partner with Internal Communications for campaign rollout.
  • Recruitment Process Innovation
    • Identify opportunities to digitize, streamline, and standardize TA processes.
    • Support adoption of HR systems (e.g., ATS, recruitment analytics tools).
    • Early Careers Program Management
    • Develop and manage internship, management trainee, and campus hiring programs.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with universities and academic institutions.
    • Lead employer branding initiatives targeted at early talent pools.
    • Design structured selection processes for fresh graduates and entry-level roles.
    • Shared Services Governance (Non-Manager Hiring)
    • Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in governing the performance of the shared services recruitment unit handling non-managerial hiring through data-driven oversight and structured reviews.
    • Maintain and optimize the Talent Acquisition dashboard, ensuring accurate tracking of key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, aging, funnel conversion, hiring volume, and SLA adherence).
    • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess shared services performance, identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities, and align on action plans with stakeholders.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience across high-volume recruitment.
    • Ensure alignment of shared services operations with enterprise recruitment standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
    • Stakeholder Management & Reporting
    • Act as a trusted TA partner to business leaders and HR Business Partners.
    • Provide regular recruitment updates, insights, and data-driven recommendations.
    • Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership review (e.g., hiring metrics, pipeline health).
    • Support workforce planning and talent pipeline strategies.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field

    Experience

    • 3–6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment
    • Proven experience handling managerial hiring
    • Exposure to shared services recruitment operations and/or volume hiring
    • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or similar industries is preferred
