Your role at Clorox:

Lead the South East Asia (SEA) Marketing team with a clear mandate to double the business size within a 3–5 year horizon by delivering profitable, sustainable growth across Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and additional growth geographies. This role owns the enterprise growth agenda for SEA, combining bold strategic thinking with rigorous execution to expand participation across consumer segments, usage occasions, and portfolio opportunities.

The position is designed for a growth‑oriented leader capable of translating consumer, shopper, and customer insights into distinctive growth strategies, mobilizing cross‑functional teams at speed, and building a high‑performing marketing organization. Success in this role requires the ability to operate in ambiguity, make decisive strategic choices, and create a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment that consistently delivers outsized business impact.

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Growth, Strategy and P&L ownership: 40%

  • Responsible for the overall brand and portfolio growth strategy and plan execution for the SEA Business Unit (Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore & growth geographies) with accountability for delivering step‑change growth at scale.
  • Develops and implements long‑term marketing and growth strategies that define where and how the business will compete across brands, categories, consumer segments, and usage occasions.
  • Identifies, sizes, and prioritizes growth opportunities across portfolio adjacencies, channels, and commercial models within SEA.
  • Translates consumer, shopper, and customer insights into integrated growth strategies with clear value propositions and commercial logic.
  • Leads development and execution of holistic marketing plans, including market assessment, segmentation, targeting, demand forecasting, pricing, innovation, and demand generation.
  • Acts as local brand P&L owner, accountable for topline growth, margin delivery, and total A&SP effectiveness.

Establishes a fresh, agile style of marketing leadership & commercial excellence: 35%

  • Establishes a modern, agile marketing leadership model focused on speed, learning, and rapid scaling of winning ideas, seeking disproportionate versus incremental growth.
  • Sets clear strategic priorities supported by KPIs and embedded performance metrics; actively adapts plans in response to market, competitive, and financial dynamics.
  • Drives strong consumer and customer experience across channels, ensuring commercial effectiveness and executional excellence.
  • Leads cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, R&D, and Supply Chain to deliver integrated business outcomes.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and accountability for total business performance across channels and customers.

Portfolio innovation and leadership: 25%

  • Leads the SEA portfolio strategy, evolving the business from item‑led launches toward platform‑based growth models capable of scaling across segments, channels, and markets.
  • Establishes portfolio priorities and innovation roadmaps aligned with growth ambition and profitability targets.
  • Develops clear, inspiring innovation and communication briefs that lead to winning product launches and activations.
  • Works cross‑functionally to identify portfolio opportunities across claims, packaging, formats, channels, and competitive positioning.

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 10+ years of Brand Marketing experience, with at least 5 years in Tier‑1 CPG companies.
  • Proven multi‑country marketing leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of SEA consumer, cultural, and business environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing budgets, and delivering P&L results.
  • Marketing background / Business Administration / Industrial – Commercial Engineers.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to set a clear growth ambition and translate it into actionable strategic choices.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead outsized growth agendas in complex, multi‑market environments.
  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and frame complex problems into clear priorities and decisions.
  • Hands‑on, agile leader with a strong bias for action and executional discipline.
  • High commercial acumen with deep understanding of consumers, customers, and channels.
  • Proven ability to build organizations capable of sustaining accelerated growth.
  • Resilient, people‑centric leader who builds accountability, capability, and performance.
