Job Overview

The Manufacturing Technician III is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and machinery (Auto and Manual) on the Assembly line. This includes set-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to minimize downtime and maintain product quality and safety standards.

Job Requirements

  • Monitor and maintain the proper operation of machines to achieve production targets.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize production interruptions.
  • Conduct equipment setup and changeovers for different production runs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineers on process improvements.
  • Implement 5S+1 (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices.

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • Graduate of atleast vocational, technical and/or diploma courses
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding part drawings.
  • Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation disciplines.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices.
  • Basic computer skills for logging maintenance data.
  • Experience with continuous improvement practices.
