Impex Team Leader

Responsible for managing end-to-end import and export operations within a PEZA-registered environment (Lima Technology Center). This role ensures compliance with PEZA and customs regulations, oversees shipping activities (small/heavy parcel), and leads a team to deliver efficient and timely logistics operations.

About The Job

• Oversee daily import/export activities, shipment planning, and coordination with forwarders, brokers, and carriers.
• Ensure proper processing of PEZA permits (IP, EP, LOA) and maintain audit-ready documentation in line with regulations.
• Manage air, and sea shipments, ensuring cost efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Supervise Import, Export, Small Parcel, and PEZA processing teams; manage workload, performance, and development.
• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth logistics and strong service performance.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documents and provide regular performance and compliance reports.
• Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

About You

• Associate degree, two-year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred
• Five to seven years of experience
• Previous experience supporting logistics
• Strong experience in PEZA operations and compliance is advantage
• Preferable with knowledge of customs regulations, shipping processes, and SAP
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong communication skills
