About The Role
As Guidance Officer, you will work closely with students, families, school staff and community partners to support wellbeing, engagement and educational success.

You Will
- Provide guidance and counselling services to support student wellbeing, engagement and learning.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students, families, staff and community members.
- Work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, wellbeing staff and external agencies.
- Support culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches across the school.
- Contribute to inclusive practices that enable every student to participate, progress and succeed.
- Manage a professional caseload, applying sound judgement, confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Use effective communication and problem-solving skills to support students experiencing barriers to learning.
- A supportive leadership team committed to staff wellbeing and professional growth.
- Professional learning opportunities focused on cultural capability, inclusion, trauma-informed practice and student wellbeing.
- Opportunities to work alongside a multidisciplinary team and experienced education professionals.
- Strong partnerships with local Elders, community members and service providers.
