Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join a fast-growing Canadian fintech team building secure, automation-driven software solutions for the financial services industry.

You will work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to design, build, optimize, and maintain enterprise-grade applications used in a high-performance fintech environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Full Stack Development

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET Core, and React
• Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code following strong engineering best practices
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for frontend systems and third-party integrations
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve performance across the application stack
  
  
  

Database & Azure Integration

• Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema designs using SQL Server or Azure SQL
• Deploy and manage cloud services using Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Storage, and Key Vaults
• Use Azure DevOps for pipelines, repository control, release management, and CI/CD workflows
  
  
  

Agile Collaboration

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product Managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality releases
• Contribute ideas that improve architecture, automation, performance, and development processes
  
  
  

Code Quality & Best Practices

• Support code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team
• Apply secure coding practices and advocate for testing, automation, and continuous improvement
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement practical, scalable solutions
  
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong backend development experience with C# and .NET Core
• Experience building and securing RESTful APIs
• Advanced SQL Server skills, including query optimization
• Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS, including App Services, Functions, and Azure DevOps
• Experience with unit and integration testing using xUnit, NUnit, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, and agile development workflows
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
• Ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver reliable solutions
  
  
  

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with AI integrations
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Services
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or load testing platforms
