Job description - OS Estimator
HAHAHAH Job Position Reports To Estimator (Offshore) Sales & Customer Success Manager
(day-to-day direction from Snr Estimator) Purpose Responsible for producing accurate, timely and well-documented builder tenders supporting the sales pipeline.
Desired Result KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Responsiveness Respond within 30 minutes
Tender Delivery Submit prior to deadline
Accuracy Minimal rework required
Marked Plans Included on all tenders
Follow Ups 2-day and 2-week follow ups completed
Key Responsibilities Set up tenders in Hubspot and organise documentation Complete takeoffs and markups from drawings Prepare accurate pricing including required allowances
Ensure all estimates are prepared in a clear and traceable format, allowing for easy review, QA and handover Compile and submit tenders for internal review
Complete follow ups and capture feedback in Hubspot
Manage estimating inbox ensuring: - Prompt responses to all tender invitations - Appropriate acceptance/decline of tenders - Clear and structured filing for team access - Forwarding of relevant correspondence to Sales and Delivery teams
Liaise with builders where required to confirm tender details, submission deadlines and post-submission information Identify and update awarded builder details via EstimateOne or other platforms
Position Description
Clearly document scope inclusions, exclusions and assumptions to ensure transparency and ease of review and handover Work collaboratively with Sales team to support tender follow-up and maximise conversion opportunities
Skills Traits & Competencies Previous experience in estimating, quantity take-offs or construction-based documentation Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
Experience working with Excel or estimating software
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data input and calculations
Experience Working In a Remote/offshore Or Fast-paced Environment (preferred)
