Position: POS Cashier

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented DIY Cashier to join our team at Wilcon Depot, Inc. As a DIY Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
• Operate the POS system to process transactions accurately
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
• Handle customer complaints and escalate to the supervisor when necessary
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and colleagues
• Attend training and meetings as required by the company
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or any related courses
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is an advantage
• Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and computer skills
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
