We are looking for a Director of Marketing Communications.
As a Director of Marketing Communications, we rely on you to:
- In collaboration with the Director of Sales & Marketing, develops and implements a full-year communications strategy and an integrated direct-to-consumer marketing plan in conjunction with each hotel’s stakeholder teams with specific goals and budget as outlined in the hotels’ business plan to achieve business goals and targets.
- Collaborates and works closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Regional Marketing, Regional Digital Marketing, HQ Brands, and HQ Loyalty Marketing to ensure brand and marketing alignment on both a regional and global level.
- Prepares and manages all brand-related collaterals across multiple platforms including brand.com and social media. Aligns with the hotel Commercial Marketing team on content scheduling.
- Creates and manages a content partnership programme to facilitate awareness of hotel products, services, and initiatives. Builds a content KPI framework to constantly review and optimize partnership content performance.
- Manages and cultivates media relations and develops contacts with media members, journalists, influencers, and community leaders from national and key source markets.
- Proactively innovates PR opportunities and collaborations to promote the hotel’s news and senior/brand spokespersons via high-profile media interviews and other events.
- Writes and distributes press releases to introduce new products and services, new members of the management team, and other newsworthy developments.
- An experienced marketing leader with at least 8 years of marketing experience (preferably in luxury business) with strong people skills and a personable character
- Proven relationship with local media, key influencers, lifestyle b/vloggers, and the like
- Experience in conceptualising integrated marketing communications plans and implementing them from ground up
- Impeccable English writing and speaking skills
- Expertise in lifestyle copywriting and proofreading
- Strong project management, organization, and time management skills
- Leadership skills, team player and highly driven for results
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables with high attention to detail and branding guidelines
- Good understanding of lifestyle, travel, social trends, and the local media landscape
- Experience in overseeing or implementing digital marketing initiatives such as social media ads and other paid collaterals
