The overall objective of the Culture Manager is to ensure that Qwrk's core values (TIES), Vivid Vision, and annual goals are lived and felt throughout the organisation.
This role exists to build trust in leadership, reinforce pride in our work and company, create camaraderie across teams, and ensure employees experience Qwrk consistently, whether they're working onsite or remotely.
What are the proficiencies expected of me?
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, coordinator, HR, or management role
- At least 2 years of experience in facilitating and implementing culture and employee engagement initiatives in an organization
- Exceptional communication and coaching skills
- Exceptional collaboration, delegation, and negotiation skills
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Strong alignment with and embodiment of core values
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Strong attention to detail
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent)
- Intermediate to proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft technologies
- Own and champion Qwrk's culture across the organisation
- Ensure a consistent employee experience for both onsite and remote team members
- Champion and uphold Qwrk's core values (TIES), Vivid Vision, Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG), Qwrk Quarterly Quests (QQQs) and annual goals
- Translate leadership's strategic direction into meaningful employee experiences
- Identify cultural risks early and work proactively to address them
- Ensure alignment between what leadership says, what managers do, and what employees experience
- Partner with Management and cross-functional teams to deliver culture initiatives
- Work closely with leadership to support organisational culture and engagement
- Collaborate with Company Management to address behaviours that are not aligned with Qwrk's values
From time to time, we may also ask you to:
- Lead Qwrk's Great Place to Work (GPTW) journey and certification efforts
- Prepare the organisation for GPTW readiness and participation
- Lead employee surveys and engagement activities
- Analyse employee feedback and translate insights into practical improvements
- Track culture and engagement initiatives and report outcomes to leadership
- Support company-wide people and culture projects
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required
