Location / Shift

Angeles City, Pampanga, Morning Shift

NOTE: You must be willing to work in the office in the above office location to apply for this position.

Purpose of Role

The Credit Operations Team Member will be responsible for accurately and efficiently opening loan accounts in the Finacle core banking system. This role ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements while maintaining high standards of data integrity and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Account Set Up:

  • Create and maintain loan accounts in Finacle as per approved credit proposals.
  • Ensure correct mapping of loan parameters such as interest rates, repayment schedules, and charges.
  • Creation of customers (CIF) in Finacle as per approved credit proposals.
  • Creation of transaction accounts and offset accounts relating to lending applications.

Documentation & Verification

  • Validate all required documentation before account creation.
  • Cross-check customer details and loan terms for accuracy and completeness.

Compliance & Controls

  • Adhere to internal credit policies, operational guidelines, and regulatory norms.
  • Maintain audit trails and ensure timely reporting of discrepancies.
  • Review of various reports to ensure processing within approvals and policy.
  • Undertake all system maintenance relating to loans and overdrafts as per approval (i.e., amending interest rates, payment schedules, etc.)
  • Proactively identify and flag any system errors

Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with credit teams, branches, and other stakeholders for smooth processing.
  • Provide support for resolving queries related to loan account setup.

System & Process Management

  • Ensure proper utilisation of Finacle functionalities for loan operations.
  • Identify and escalate system issues or process gaps for resolution.

Requirements

Communication/Interpersonal: Work well with staff, customers, and external contacts in providing a sound level of verbal and written communication skills in service delivery.

Planning/Organising: Organise own daily actions to effectively achieve the required outputs of the department. Provide accurate and consistent information and take care with work to avoid errors.

Analysis/Problem Solving/Initiative: Refer complex matters for clarification or resolution, identify key issues, and act to diffuse issues before they escalate.

Teamwork: Contribute actively and openly to team communication. Work closely with staff members, focusing on the delivery of work output and results.

Desired Qualifications/Experience

  • Prior experience in credit operations or banking back-office functions preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Finacle or similar core banking systems (Desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good understanding of loan products and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
